with the future approaching it seems like we're set / to be impacted, distracted, beleaguered by debt / like an ingot of iron increasing in size / my legs become heavy as i swallow my pride / i drag my feet across the cold concrete / as i clock more hours and i lose more sleep / we are the sapped, we are the tired, the unfree / these heavy shackles hold us to our knees / we are the chained, we are the hollowed maple trees / we're valued only by our jobs and our degrees / i cant help but feel a sense of defeat / i know inside that this just is not me / we have all been sold / a price placed on our souls
I love this album because it's my favorite album to listen too while I am skating. It is my absolute favorite album. And I cannot get enough of it. From it's completely unique sound to it's album cover. midst Quietus
the evolution of citizen is almost identical to the typical depiction of human evolution. As you please strays from the previous releases while containing raw emotion. ghøstbødy
I'm sorry I missed out on this band 'til now. Landscapes sound excellent, a must for any fan of UKHC in the first decade of the century. I'd put them on a playlist with early Gallows, Alexisonfire, Comeback Kid, Dead Swans, Lay It On The Line, Mercury League and HHH. Burning Flag Designs
